Hudson Families

Families gathered outside for JuneFest

The best learning experience is driven by a positive collaboration between home and school.

Hudson families come from all kinds of cultural backgrounds, work across every industry and—like our students—are totally unique. What brings everyone together? A common goal of giving children a balanced, high quality education that allows them to explore interests, grow socially and academically, and gain confidence with the support of a down-to-earth, friendly community.

Communication

Our team strives to be accessible, responsive and proactive in our communication with families. Parents can easily set up one-on-one meetings or connect with a quick call or email. Report cards, attendance and payment for incidentals like hot lunch and field trips are available in parent portals for each division.

Kindergarten parents receive frequent updates on SeeSaw, and teachers in Grade 1–8 send out weekly emails and shared homework calendars. Upper School guidance works directly with students and families to develop and adjust learning plans, make informed course choices, and coordinate social-emotional support as needed.

Parent Ambassadors for each grade also help to organize events, consult on school matters, facilitate community groups on social platforms, and share  feedback with administrators.
