Most schools have two semesters or run their courses throughout the year. Hudson has a unique, three-semester system, which offers a more flexible academic schedule. Students can concentrate on fewer courses at a time—which means they’ll be less stressed and more focused. In addition, as part of the three-semester system, students get a 90-minute study period every day (during the Fall and Winter semesters). The Study Period creates space in students’ schedules so they can work on homework, study for tests, or seek help from teachers. It also gives them more time to dedicate to after-school extracurricular activities.
